Wife of former Pa. fire chief killed at Trump rally refuses call from President Biden

Helen Comperatore says she has no ill will towards Biden, but her husband would not want her to take a call from the president

SARVER, Pa. 鈥 President Joe Biden tried to call the family of the by a would-be presidential assassin鈥檚 bullets at a rally for former president , but the wife of the Pennsylvania man won鈥檛 take the call of compassion from the nation鈥檚 leader.

鈥淚 didn鈥檛 talk to Biden. I didn鈥檛 want to talk to him,鈥 Helen Comperatore . 鈥淢y husband was a devout Republican and he would not have wanted me to talk to him.鈥

She added: 鈥淚 don鈥檛 have any ill-will towards Joe Biden. I鈥檓 not one of those people that gets involved in politics. I support Trump, that鈥檚 who I鈥檓 voting for but I don鈥檛 have ill-will towards Biden.
