MIDDLETOWN, Wis. 鈥 Kris O鈥橠ell has been named chief of the Middleton Emergency Medical Services Department, .
O鈥橠ell assumed appointment following approval by the Middleton Common Council in February.

O鈥橠ell brings nearly 32 years of experience in emergency medical services to the role, including more than 25 years as a licensed paramedic with Middleton EMS. He also previously served as deputy chief with the Town of Brookfield Fire Department.
鈥淜ris has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication throughout his career,鈥 City Administrator Bryan Gadow said in a statement. 鈥淗is experience and steady leadership will ensure Middleton EMS continues to provide the highest level of care as our community grows.鈥
O鈥橠ell said he is grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the community鈥檚 trust in his leadership.
The Middleton EMS Department provides emergency medical response and advanced life support services to the Middleton community and its surrounding areas. A formal swearing-in ceremony will be announced at a later date.
